Bloopers
Nobody is perfect, so here are the Backstreet bloopers
We've Got It Goin' On
- When AJ sings "yeah, yeah", Howie looks lost.
- There is a girl in the audience holding a lighter and when the Backstreet Boys kick, the lighter goes out.
- In the beginning when they dance on stage, Kevin stays standing up while the other 4 guys go down.
- After the dancing on stage, when AJ sings his part in the microphone scene, Nick does his nose thing again.
- At the end when they're singing into the mics, Brian forgets to sing his part, instead he sings along with the
other guys.
- In the scene when the guys are in the woods, near the end of the vid, Howie is fascinated with the ground and not
really singing.
Get Down (You're The One For Me)
- When Nick sings the words "one for me" Kevin, who is right behind him, mouths it too.
- Nick gets a bit carried away with his dancing at one point.
- Howie at one point decides to do his own moves.
- At the end of the video, when they're singing "get down", Kevin goes up and down and the others go down and up.
- Brian forgot his moves again.
- During the "jumping jacks" scene Howie gets carried away and caries on when the rest of the guys stop.
- Near the end of AJ's rap, it looks like Brian got a whiplash.
- After AJ's rap part he walks away, but because Brian is right there, he quickly turns the other way.
Anywhere For You
- While walking along the beach at the beginning, Kevin seems to stumble.
- Just before Brian's first solo part, when they're walking along the beach, Nick and Howie seem to fall into eachother.
- Near the end, when Brian and AJ are running for the beach ball, AJ trips.
I'll Never Break Your Heart (1st video)
- When Brian is on the ski lift, he looks sad, but he's probably really scared. (Remember: Brian's afraid of heights).
- AJ is nowhere to be found when the guys are all sitting down eating on the terrace.
- When they're standing on the terrace, you can see a camera man appear behind them.
- Brian goes to the girl and has nothing in his hand and suddenly he has a shish kabob in his hand.
- Nick gets hit in the head by Brian with a snowball at the end.
- Kevin falls on a girl and accidentally touches her chest with his hand.
Quit Playin' Games (With My Heart)
- When Brian sings "Deep within my soul...." his watch slides down his wrist.
- When they sing the chorus in the end, Kevin has a split bubble.
- In the beginning Nick looks like he is crying. He has his head lowered.
- I only say four words... Kevin & tight, wet pants!
- When AJ sings the words "don't leave me hanging here forever", Kevin sings along with him.
- When AJ sings "Baby, baby the love that we had was so strong" it looks like Brian is coughing.
- Close to the end, while Kevin is doing his song bit, he's not singing what he's supposed to be singing.
- Just before they go to the water scene, Brian's watch has disappeared.
Everybody (Backstreet's Back)
- How come Kevin just stands there dazed out of his mind at the beginning?
- During AJ's "Now throw your hands up in the air", the dancer in the back, left of AJ, messes up and misses
one of the turns.
- When AJ is singing at the table, the camera zooms over the table and a candle goes out.
- At the end, when they're leaving the castle, only Brian and Kevin have luggage. The other guys must have packed
really light.
- When they "wake up" at the end, the boys are talking about their strange dreams, when AJ joins them he starts to
talk about having a strange dream too , but he was way out of hearing distance of the other boys.
- Why does no one care about Kevin's dream?
- At the end, durning the big dance scene, when the guys get on the floor and start pulling their right leg over
their left, Brian isn't doing it with them. He's just sitting there, and he's also one of the last to get off the ground.
As Long As You Love Me
- When Nick and Brian are singing "I can't get you out of my head....", AJ is using the pool-cue as a guitar.
- During the changing of the guys (the morphing), watch the red fan in the background. It changes speed amazingly quickly.
- When Brian sings "Every little thing that...", watch AJ.
- When Brian and Kevin sing "Deep within me..", Nick is having a ball.
- The clock behind the desk appears to be dead. The time hasn't changed from the beginning till the end.
- Why does Howie always have a mobile phone in his hand?
- After Kevin shows his surfboard, the girl in grey is fixing her jacket.
- When they walk towards the girls, AJ's belt is partly over his jacket, then in the next shot it's gone.
- When the guys stand in front the table, Howie's arm is on his left hip, then on his right hip, then magically they
are crossed.
- In the beginning when the girls come walking in and the boys are standing up looking at them, the boys start out
in one position, the camera does a shot of the girls and the boys are all in a different order.
All I Have To Give
- When Brian begins to sing, Kevin decides to pop in the shot too.
- During the first chorus, Kevin is beside Nick, then in the next shot Howie is.
- When Nick is sitting in the chair, he sticks out his foot and almost trips Howie.
- During the second chorus, Nick lip-synchs the wrong thing.
- In the hat scene Howie can't put the hat on his head properly, but of course they don't redo the scene, they just
do a really quick cut.
Everybody (Extended Version)
- After Kevin turns his head and sings "everybody", they didn't cut the scene fast enough, so you see him sing
"rock your..." when he shouldn't be.
I Want It That Way
- When the boys walk into the airport, look above the door they are walking in. The sign above the door says "exit".
- When Nick sings "Tell me why..." for the second time in the first chorus, watch his dance moves.
- Also at that part, watch Kevin's moves [funky!]
- When AJ finishes his solo and goes into the chorus, watch Howie in the middle of the first dance.
- At he end of the second dance in their white clothes, just look at Nick. He's in the right corner of the screen.
- During Kevin's solo it looks as if Nicks hand is glued onto his neck
- When Nick sings the line "Don't wanna hear you say" Kevin "walks" as if he's drunk. (It's really funny.)
- At the beginning of the video, there's a plane in the background. This plane does not have the logo "Backstreet Boys"
written on it, but - amazingly - at the end it does!
- When they sing in the middle of the fans at the end of it and Nick has his arm around AJ, Nick looks as if he wants
to knock out the camera. (When you run it slow, you can see it really well.)
Show Me The Meaning Of Being Lonely
- They are walking on the street at the end of the video. If you look at Nick's foot when they are walking, you can
see he's walking very strange. He's walking straight on but his foot is turned to the right. Looks very weird.
The Call
- Brian falls down on the ground because of a bullet. When he is on the ground there is no bullet. And suddenly
there is one. One moment there isn't a bullet and the next moment there is a bullet.
- On TRL (MTV- Total Request Live) they paused the part in The Call when the car spins ourt of control, and Nick
grabs the steering wheel, if you pause it, you see his stunt double, who looks nothing like Nick, and is like 20 years
older.
Shape Of My Heart
- When Nick is singing his solo bit, at the end of the song, he drops his papers twice. The first time he does it,
he lets them fall slowly to the floor but then they're back in his hands again and he throws them across the room once more.
More Than That
- When the Boys are riding in the cars, they have an arial view. When the camera is behind the cars in the air, kevins
hat flies off.
Other Bloopers
- For the 2000 Radio Music Awards, BSB won best slow dance song of the year for "Show Me the Meaning of Being Lonely".
When they came to recieve their award and make their speech, the sound people played NSYNC's "This I Promise You"
instead. Not word for word, but Kevin was like "Thanks to the sound people for playing that song" in a sarcastic voice.
- Blooper during a live concert: at the concert a fan tossed AJ a bouquet of roses, but he gave it to Mindi Abair,
the wonderful saxophone player. The bouquet was meant to be for AJ, though. This happened at the Tacoma Dome in
Washington state on Oct. 26th, 2000 for their Into Millennium Tour.
- At the "Homecoming Concert" in Orlando, during the song "Just to be close to you" a ball shaped stuffed animal
was thrown onstage. At first Brian holds it, then passes it on to Nick who sticks it under his armpit, then he gives
it back to Brian and he throws it on the floor. After the song finishes, you see all the boys run off stage and Nick
trips over the same stuffed animal!
